20-30 club has many new leaders
September 23, 2008
Who are the next generation of community leaders. As it relates to Northern Colorado, we would suggest that many of the next generation of community leaders can be found in the NoCo Active 20-30 Club. In two quick years, this group has become one of the elite nonprofit organizations in our region. Its impact in terms of community leadership and impact are significant and growing.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff of Partners Mentoring Youth, we want to congratulate the men of Northern Colorado Active 20-30 for yet another very successful Suitcase Party, held Sept 5. The event this year surpassed last year's inaugural and much-talked-about event. This fundraising event provides a unique party atmosphere (airplane hanger) and a chance to win an all-inclusive weekend trip to Napa Valley (private jet included), while at the same time benefiting youth serving agencies in Weld and Larimer Counties. Through the generosity of this group of young professionals, funded agencies are able to provide a higher level of service to more children in Northern Colorado. Partners Mentoring Youth is one of the fortunate agencies to receive funding from this organization, and we applaud this group for what they have accomplished.
The mission of NoCo Active 20-30 is to provide young adults with an opportunity for personal growth, friendships and leadership development while improving the quality of life for the special needs children in our community.
